The data service environment we have built on top of the main data store means we are able to send all changes made at one site, to every other site in the group. This allows all employees to see the changes that others have made in the field, or at another branch. Not a new idea, but because it is delivered by our own service, there is no need for expensive database licences, or technical involvement in setting up replication cycles or resolving conflicts. This also makes database structure updates easier because the tables are not tied to the replication logic.
