Employees and Roles
Each member of staff can be given their own individual username and password to access dolitl. This allows staff an appreciation of their user credentials and provides finer access control.
Employees are placed into roles or groups, to which permissions are assigned. Grouping users allows permissions to be set once and more easily managed as staff leave or change roles within the organisation.
Should the employee leave their workstation unattended for a set amount of time, they will be automatically logged out to help prevent unauthorised access.
Audit trails
All actions in dolitl are logged. This is a non-editable history of events such as creating or deleting an account which can be made available to the practice manager. The log records information such as the action taken, the user account used, the site the action was taken at and the date and time the action was initiated. While this doesn't prevent undesired actions, it does provide a method of tracing the action giving you the "when and by whom" result.
