Most importantly, you will need a reliable dedicated web/data server (big black box) at each site with the dolitl application installed (database, file drive and web application). You may already have something suitable, but it's usually better to start by getting something separate from your existing system, and that's up-to-date.

A laptop or computer with an Internet browser (Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox 3+, or Apple Safari 3+) in any area you would like employees to be able to use the application - the car, at the reception desk, or the consulting room.

A connection from each laptop or computer to the big black box. This will be either a wire cable or a wireless (WiFi / 3G) data card, and would connect directly to the network or to the Internet.

Any existing scanners, printers (label and laser), barcode readers and cash drawers as required for day-to-day activities.
